Request a Letter of Support

Use this form to provide all information required to process your request for a letter of support for a grant application. Please note: Requests received within two weeks of the grant deadline will not be considered.
  • Please cite the funding agency and specific program you're applying to (e.g., USDA-NIFA SCRI Coordinated Agricultural Project).
  • What is the deadline for the grant program to which you're applying? Or, if you must first submit your application to an internal office, by what date do you need a letter of support? (Please enter the month, date and year.)
    Is the deadline or required date above at least two weeks (10 business days) from today? If so, please proceed. If not, your application will not be accepted.
    In order to receive a letter of support from NGRA, an NGRA representative must be named to the advisory panel for your project. Please check that you understand and agree to this requirement.
    NGRA only endorses projects that fit our research theme areas. Please indicate the area(s) your project addresses. For more information on our research themes, see https://graperesearch.org/research/research-priorities/.
  • Key in the title of your project as it appears on your grant application.
  • Who will be submitting this proposal? Please include institution affiliation.
  • List PI(s) and any/all scientific collaborators here; please include the institution for each. If a commercial entity is involved, please include the company in this listing. (Full bios are not necessary.)
  • List the high-level objectives of your project.
  • Note the total amount of funding your team is seeking from this funding source.
  • Note the length of time your prospective funding will cover.
  • Let us know your name and your email address so we may follow up.

    Please upload a confidential copy of your project proposal. (A draft is fine.) Although not required, providing your proposal greatly improves our understanding of and ability to endorse your project.
